Oh, I agree that they shouldn't sign him. But I think they will. I think they will because they can, and I really do think they're interested in things like stealing the organizational thunder of other clubs in the news (especially clubs in their division, especially clubs in their division from Boston, and especially with a former player from such a club).
They will atleast sign one of them. Teixeira is a better choice both on and off the field he would be a huge addition at first base. Now Manny they might get, who knows but the power he would bring to the club and the heat he would add between them and Boston...also think about Goerge's son is now in chasrge he needs to win now his dad did and now he has to theres no waiting...no limits.
Why build it when you can buy it?
In my humble opinion the Yankees would be crazy to sign him. They don't need his antics.
